The Agapé horses are our four-legged therapists. These older, gentle, kindhearted souls have been donated to Agapé and are enjoying a second career, sometimes a third career. Our horses delight those with special needs as they improve the quality of participants’ lives by addressing physical, psychological, academic, social, and spiritual needs. The riders at Agapé develop close relationships with their horses as they experience the unconditional love a horse can give. Read More about the horses.
You can help support one of these gentle giants that bring great joy to those in need.
There are four ways to Adopt-a-Horse:
Agapé will prominently display your name on a stall door where at least 200 people will see it each week. You will be recognized in the newsletter and annual report sent to over 2,500 contacts. You’ll be provided with a certificate of care, a photograph with your horse, and a biography. You’ll be sent letters and photographs each quarter from children enjoying the horse. Volunteer opportunities will also be established to spend time with the horse.
